Walk The Mission

Join us for a unique walking experience at Mission San Luis Rey. Go behind the scenes like never before! This self-paced walking tour highlights outdoor points of interest, buildings, gardens and other areas not included in regular behind-the-scenes visits. Encounter engaging docents, photos and experience up-close locations that tell the story of the mission’s history and current activities.

Walk the Mission is open to all ages. Due to unpaved and uneven terrain of the Mission property, including dirt paths and hills, this event is not recommended for strollers, wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.
