Fr. Jack Clark Robinson, OFM will present the history of Franciscans in USA in the 19th and early 20th centuries and reconstruction of Mission San Luis Rey after California became part of the US.
Jack Clark Robinson, OFM currently serves as the Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Mission Archive-Library, one of the premiere primary source collections of Mission Era California material. He is also currently engaged in the preparation for the bringing together six current Franciscan provinces across the United States into one new province which will be established in October. He has taught young and now not- so young Franciscans for over thirty-five years, and currently teaches as an adjunct professor at the Franciscan School of Theology. In 2019 with the help of Franciscan Provincial archivists he wrote, Franciscan Friars: Coast to Coast, which is available from Arcadia Publishers (and in the Mission San Luis Rey Gift Shop).
