Assignment
Space assignment is based on a first come first serve basis by application postmark date. The event producers reserve the right to limit the number of applications for any one type of good/service and relocate vendor spaces for the good of the fair and its participants. Cashing of your check or charging credit card constitutes acceptance. Confirmations are emailed prior to event.
Space and Product Specifications
Retail & Artisan spaces are 10x10; food spaces are 10x15. 10x20 spaces are available for an additional fee. Only space is provided. Vendors are responsible for tables, canopies, chairs, etc. Weapons, ammunition, alcoholic beverages, or drugs are prohibited on the grounds. The sale of live animals, weapons, firearms, explosives (including ammunition, fireworks, snap caps, bomb bags and poppers), knives, toy weapons, tobacco/drug paraphernalia and/or items that promote the use of illicit substances or items deemed distasteful are prohibited.
Food Vendors
Food vendors are responsible for knowing and meeting all San Diego County Health Department regulations. Vendor must provide a copy of current Health Department Food Facility Permit and post in booth and be prepared for a Health Department inspection.
Electricity
Electricity is not provided. Vendors may bring whisper quiet generators that meet California Air Quality requirements only. No generators without prior approval. The Old Mission San Luis Rey is not responsible for any air quality violations.
Taxes and Insurance
All applications must include California State Board of Equalization Seller’s permit number. You are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax. Proof of insurance for food vendors, rides, etc. must be submitted with application.
Refunds
Vendors who cancel before September 22nd will receive 50% refund of the booth fee, no refunds will be granted after that date. There are no refunds due to inclement weather or acts of nature. In the event that the festival is canceled due to Covid-19 County restrictions, all vendors will receive a full refund.
Hours
Set up is between 7am – 9am. All vehicles must be off event site by 9am. Tear down is 2pm - 4pm. One parking space per vendor is provided.
